Configuration of a big screen

A big screen is recommended when you have multiple sessions that will occur after each other. You can integrate pre-recorded content, a live stream or a mix of both. With a big screen you can also display a schedule. 

How to configure a big screen

• Go to the dashboard
• Select the event that you want to configure
• Go to 'rooms'
• Click on the 'visual editor icon' of the room in which you want to add a big screen
• Click on 'add element' and select 'big screen'
• Go to the properties on the left side
• Give your big screen a name (optional)
• Choose the location and size of your big screen
  • Use your computer mouse
  • Use your keyboard commands
  • Fill in the x and y-axis, width and height
    
    
• Select 'always behind' if you want this big screen to always be placed behind other objects or avatars 
• Select 'hide on mobile' if you don't want this big screen to be visible on the mobile client. 
• Upload your big screen by selecting an image from the media library
• Select 'flip horizontally' if you want to mirror the image over the x-axis
• Select 'hide styling' if you want hide the styling of the big screen component and only use the styling of the session. 
  The white frame won't be displayed then: 
  
  
• Add your sessions
  • Give your session a name (optional)
  • Choose the location and size of your session (see options above)
  • Select an image from the media library for your session (for example: Teams logo)
  • Select your start and end time of your session
  • Tick the box 'show embedded content in the session' if applicable
  • Give your session a 'title' and 'description'
  • Add or select a slug under 'meeting slug'
    
    
• Add another session if applicable (the easiest way is to duplicate your first session and then edit it)
• Add a schedule if wanted
  • Choose the location and size of your session (see options above)
  • Give your schedule a title
    
    
• Press 'save' 

Important: you can use 'back to big screen' under 'properties' to return to your big screen and to continue adding new sessions to it.
